Det første, du skal finde ud af med dig selv, er, hvor mange penge du har brug for, og hvor god du selv mener, du er til at betale tilbage. For det første er det vigtigt at finde ud af, hvor mange penge man skal låne, da lån ikke er noget, man bare tager for sjov, hvis man låner flere penge, end man har brug for, kommer man til at betale flere ud, og det vil aldrig blive godt. Hvis man kun låner dem, man har brug for, kan man bedre overskue at betale dem tilbage, fordi man ved, at det var et nødvendigt valg.

Derudover skal du være ærlig med dig selv om, hvor god du er til at betale tilbage. Find de lån, der passer dig bedst på denne del, og derved kan du undgå en situation, hvor du står og mangler penge til at betale af på dine lån.
